Atlanta Burning® is
located approximately 30 miles southwest of Atlanta,Georgia; in Newnan: "The City of
Homes". Bob and Jan Witt, are the founders of the company. The sauce itself has been
around for some 25 years. Originally it was created as a spicy rib sauce. The sauce became
very popular with the folks at "Redwine Farms", when on horseback camping trips
and outings. In fact, it became so popular everyone wanted to take some home. Old mason
jars worked great for samples to friends and relatives.When business got too big for wash
tub batches (about 1994), we had to get legitimate and put it in real bottles with real
labels and all.
These sauces are GREAT on RIBS, HOT
WINGS, SHRIMP, with BLOODY MARY mix, CLAM DIP, BAKED POTATO SOUP, and as a CHILI
BOOSTER! Today you can find our sauces
in specialty and gourmet shops, and select mail order companies, across the United States.
